reimagining church | est. 2023
We are a new community in Sterling Ranch, Colorado on a faith journey together.
We gather as people of diverse ages, backgrounds, identities, abilities, and talents. We honor questions, doubts, and the unique story of each person we meet on the way. We meet in our neighborhood clubhouse, as well as living rooms, backyards, and in nature for fellowship, worship and service to our neighbors. We seek to be in solidarity with our siblings striving in love for justice and peace throughout the world.
We respect the privacy of our hosts! Because we worship often in homes, we do not publish the locations of our private gatherings. If you are interested in joining us for worship, please reach out via the “Join Us” button or contact form below:
Thank you so much to all who supported Holy Companion's first-ever fundraiser! Your generosity will help us continue to serve as the only faith community based in Sterling Ranch, a haven for belonging and a hub for advocacy for our most vulnerable neighbors.
We raised $7010 (nearly three times our $2500 goal!) These funds will allow us to hold more intergenerational gatherings for worship, community-building, and service to our wider community.
Thanks to your support, we will be able to deeply care for our community while warmly welcoming newcomers. We will nurture leadership within Holy Companion, while doing our part to build the Interfaith Coalition of Douglas County. Together, we will continue to engage in joyful and inclusive worship, creative formation, and relationship-building across our many diverse identities.
our values
play & celebration
(we prioritize the participation of children and youth, we’ll take any excuse for a party, and we always have food!)
inclusivity & accessibility
(multicultural, antiracist, queer-celebratory, disability and neurodivergence-embracing)
contemplation
(practicing sacred pauses to pay attention to God’s presence in and among us in every moment)
solidarity for justice
(walking with our BIPOC neighbors, seeking equity and justice in our suburban context)
Lord Jesus, stay with us, for evening is at hand and the day is past; be our companion in the way, kindle our hearts, and awaken hope, that we may know you as you are revealed in Scripture and the breaking of bread. Grant this for the sake of your love. Amen.
