This booklet is meant to help families come together during the busiest time of the year for a sacred pause as we wait for Christ’s coming and return. The simplest way to pray these prayers is to have one person read the non-italicized part while other family members read the italicized parts. The Lord’s Prayer (printed on the next page) may be read together.

Families with younger children can add a discussion of the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love, while families with older children can discuss the readings if they would like.
